Kukuiula

Designed in collaboration with the architects at Olson Kundig, the interiors at Kukui’ula update Hawaii’s “kama’aina” aesthetic for a new generation, with sumptuous finishes, contemporary art, and authentic island touches. Located on Kauai’s sun-drenched south shore, the house offers an intimate and seamless connection to Hawaii’s tropical climate through multiple lanais, expansive views, and local materials. The design team selected all interior finishes as well as the house’s extensive collection of local artwork. White-washed wood finishes and exposed lava rock combine with eclectic, mid-century-inspired furniture and tropical plants to give the house a timeless and lived-in feel while artwork by local photographers Bryce Johnson and Tara Rock add pops of color and a contemporary flair for a new style of kama‘aina.
